Growing up in the small, western town of Prescott, Arizona, I've always loved the traditional western fashions combined with current bohemian trends. These Ariat boots and hat by Cavender's are the perfect combination of western boho. The boots have a beautiful mix of leather colors from chocolate brown to cognac with embroidery and decorative stitching on the foot and top collar. The oilskin Aussie hat has a leather scalloped hatband with brass conchos. The quality, the comfortable fit, and the detailing of Cavender's products are incredible. Functional art---my favorite kind of fashion.
Other quality pieces selected for this styling include a stunning silver and turquoise cuff bracelet with an amethyst inset by Taxco.925 Mexican Silver Store. The intricate silver designs and gorgeous stones will thrill you. To read more about the history of Mexican Silver in Taxco, I've linked a great blog post here. In addition to the gorgeous cuff bracelet, I selected an embroidered, faux-fur trimmed vest by Flying Tomato. Such a pretty vest, right? After the lovely vest, I chose a cream colored blouse with a lace yoke at front and back with lace insets from Others Follow. Love the bell sleeves, the flowy silhouette, and the open tie back for a perfect bohemian accent. Lastly, I selected an embroidered, vegan leather canteen bag by T-Shirt & Jeans that was a perfect accessory for the western boho ensemble.
Leaving the snow and cold of Flagstaff soon for spring break on the big island of Hawaii. Email me or comment below with any suggestions of what I should see and do! Xoxo, Shelly
